Harry Potter - Mischief

I think this is the first fanart I've put full effort into coloring since...over a year ago. And now I can safely say I actually finished something in 2011, whew!

I feel every time a new HP thing comes out, I am compelled to pay tribute by drawing Marauders fanart. Except now there will be no more HP anything! ;_;

But Moony (not so much Wormtail), Padfoot, and Prongs will have a special place in my heart forever! I aspire to have a friendship like theirs in real life, with people to break the rules and explore with. I think James and Sirius' relationship is the absolute perfect example of what a friendship should be. Everyone feels so horrible for Snape, but I honestly feel worse for the Marauders. I mean, I do think Snape's unrequited love for Lily was tragic, but Sirius and Remus had to watch one friend betray and basically kill another friend(/brother) and then were thrown into Azkaban and shunned by society respectively. How is that not more upsetting?? Maybe I'm just biased (I definitely am), but god, their story both warms and breaks my heart /sob.

Anyways, as I'm typing this, I'm dreading what the transparency is going to look like on dA. It's um...meant to be the invisibility cloak, but I realize that cloaks do not actually drape like that >_>;
