I think you are too hard on yourself . I think the gun holding is fine, the broken glass looks fantastic, and the blond hair coloring looks great.

Content-wise, I think this is a really sweet picture. I'm not sure if he is just some random character or if he is modeled after an existing one. He looks like the corrupted son of a bureaucrat. Almost like hes just starting to get his hands dirty and he's not used to it yet. Just my thoughts, at least =]

I'm new to Hetalia, but I know enough to feel both sorry, and very bad for Alffy in this picture - which is superb, btw.

P.S.: As a random afterthought, I'm reminded of Persona 3, what with the gun. As another random afterthought . . . hagelt18's comment is kind of chilling, considering what he is . . . puts a whole new spin on a APH plot bunny trying to break out . . . if not just breading a new one. . .

Still, love the art, the colors, and the hand looks perfectly juxtaposed with the shattered glass, which - given the pattern - looks to be either plex, or shatterproof, and he's . . . disgusted? . . . that it wasn't bullet proof.

Yeah, Alfred's personality in Hetalia does not match the Bush administration >_>;; But as the election has shown, the positive and well-meaning side of America is not dead yet! I'd like to see Hetalia's take on the past few years though...it does dramatic scenes surprisingly well

He's actually the "America" character from Hetalia, which features character versions of a handful of countries. Your interpretation of that is a little depressing though, since the character reflects the nation and...well, yeah v__v;
